Understanding the Manage Menu
The Manage menu in contentmarketing.ai provides users with a centralized location to view, organize, and filter their projects and content. It contains three key sub-menus: Projects, Campaigns, and Library. This article walks you through each section and how to use them effectively.
Projects
The Projects section gives you a complete overview of all the content projects created within the platform. It helps manage project workflows based on their status.
Key Features:
- Project Status Tabs: Projects are grouped into six status-based tabs:
- Active – Currently ongoing projects.
- In Planning – Projects in early development.
- In Production – Projects being written or created.
- In Publishing – Projects undergoing final steps before going live.
- Completed – Published and finalized content (e.g., a blog post already live).
- On Hold – Paused or inactive projects.
- Active – Currently ongoing projects.
- Search Bar: Search projects by name or keyword.
- Filters:
- Tags – Filter by assigned tags for easier categorization.
- Content Type – Filter by format (e.g., blog, email, social post).
- Campaign – View projects associated with specific marketing campaigns.
- Owner – Identify who is responsible for or managing the project.
- Tags – Filter by assigned tags for easier categorization.
Note: You may notice a “Launch Project” button in this section. However, this is not the recommended way to begin a project. Instead, always use the Create menu and select a content template to start a new project (as explained in related KB articles).
Kanban
The Kanban view provides an alternative visual interface to the project list. Instead of a linear list format, projects are displayed as movable cards organized by status.
Highlights:
- Offers a visual project management approach similar to Trello or Jira.
- Ideal for users who prefer workflow boards over standard lists.
The project list also allows switching to a “grid view” layout for visual convenience and includes a Refresh button to update the project display.
Library
The Library functions as a content repository—a place where all completed and saved pieces are stored after creation.
Features:
- Stores all created content (e.g., articles, images, briefs).
- Filter by:
- Content Type
- Content Status
- Creation Date
- Content Type
- Search using the Search Bar to quickly locate assets by name.
Think of the Library as your long-term archive or vault of all generated work in contentmarketing.ai. It ensures content is safely stored and easily accessible for reuse or review.
