Project Page Overview

This article explains how to create, manage, and track a content project using the Create Project page in the contentmarketing.ai platform. You’ll learn how to start a new project, interact with the AI agent, and navigate the different project tabs for better organization and progress tracking.

 

Start a New Project

To begin:

  1. On the main dashboard, click the Create button.

  2. Select a content template that suits your goal (e.g., Blog, Social Post, White Paper).

  3. Once selected, the system will redirect you to a new project workspace.

Tip: Each template is tailored for a specific content type and pre-configures prompts accordingly.

 

Use the Messages Tab 

All interactions happen inside the Messages tab, where you’ll collaborate with the platform’s AI agent.

  1. Enter your request (e.g., “Create a blog about content marketing”).

  2. Click the green Go button.

  3. The AI agent will ask a few guided questions to shape the content:

    • What’s the content type?

    • What brand brief should be used?

    • Who’s the target audience?

    • What’s the goal of the content?

📝 For blog content, the AI agent typically begins by generating an outline before producing the full draft. You can iterate and refine the draft as needed.

 

Understand the Project Tabs

Alongside the Messages tab, you’ll find several other tabs that offer organization and insight into your project:

Gallery

  • Stores all generated project assets:

    • Keyword research

    • Content outlines

    • Drafts

    • AI-generated visuals

Tasks

  • Displays each AI-driven task in a linear workflow:

    • Topic selection

    • Brief assignment

    • Keyword discovery

    • Content writing

This tab is primarily useful as a progress log.

Calendar

  • Organizes your tasks and content pieces by date.

  • Helpful for project timeline planning, especially across campaigns.

Kanban

  • Offers a visual board view of project stages (Planning, In Production, In Publishing).

  • Great for high-level content tracking.

Details

  • Provides a snapshot summary of the project, including:

    • Content type

    • Project description

    • Assigned owner.

 

Track Progress and Manage Settings

Progress Tracking

  • A progress bar shows how far along the project is based on completed AI steps.

Project Settings

Use the top-right menu to:

  • Rename the project

  • Change ownership

  • Access campaign settings

  • Delete the project

To get the best results from contentmarketing.ai, follow this recommended approach:

  • Use the Messages tab to input prompts and refine AI’s output.

  • Review and manage assets in the Gallery tab.

  • Use Tasks, Calendar, or Kanban only for organizational clarity.

  • Reference Details for quick project summaries.

  • Manage your settings via the top-right menu.
